Art House Productions presents A Cell Phone Movie, a $20,000 micro-budget meta-comedy created entirely on a cell phone by filmmaker Will Sterling. The film follows a fictional version of Sterling—a struggling actor making a movie on his phone about another struggling actor doing the same.
The screening will include a live introduction and post-film talk with Will Sterling, blending comedy with an encouraging discussion about creativity, pursuing artistic goals, and continuing to make work despite setbacks. The film was nominated for Best Debut Feature at the Raindance Film Festival.
