Books & Badges: Conversations That Matter

Open to ages 15 and up, the program creates space for deeper discussion about leadership, trust, identity, communication, public service, belonging, and community. Participants are encouraged to listen, ask meaningful questions, share perspectives, and explore how stronger relationships can be built across differences.

Recommended readings include Start with Why by Simon Sinek, Birmingham’s First Black in Blue by Leroy Stover, and Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High.
